The Indonesian Packaging Federation’s Business Development Director,ArianaSusantisaid that the growing middle class was driving greater consumption of packaging in Indonesia. “The growing middle class has spurred the higher spending on the consumption of goods and services,” Ariana said, adding that this leads into the greater consumption of packaging as well.
Ariana was a speaker in The Australian Institute of Packaging’s (AIP) National Technical Forum held alongside the AUSPACK PLUS show which was attended by delegates from the World Packaging Organization in Sydney, on May 2013.
In the event, Ariana explained the dynamics of the market in Indonesia and stated that such a condition presented great opportunities for Australia companies to explore business collaborations with Indonesian partners, as well as to invest in the country’s sector to upgrade its infrastructure and logistics challenges. For related news see: http://www.packagingnews.com.au/news/global-roads-lead-to-the-aip-forum
